Consideration and authorization to disburse up to $800,000 to the City of Alameda to complete a master plan, 30% design plans, and a community stewardship program for De-Pave Park in Alameda County to provide for the park to have a range of habitats, from subtidal and tidal to upland, and public access amenities. 12. Baylands Habitat Restoration and Community Engagement in East Palo Alto
Authorization to disburse up to $688,016 to Grassroots Ecology to restore and enhance marsh-upland transition zone habitat along the San Francisco Bay Trail in Ravenswood Open Space Preserve and at Cooley Landing, work with East Palo Alto-based community groups to provide restoration training and organize stewardship events, and hire local young adults for restoration internships in San Mateo County. Authorization to disburse up to $1,000,000 to the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority to conduct planning, perform data collection and analysis, develop design plans, and prepare program-level and project-level California Environmental Quality Act documentation for the Strategy to Advance Flood Protection, Ecosystems and Recreation along San Francisco Bay (SAFER Bay) Planning Project in San Mateo County.
